Hazard to Rea Madrid already done

Eden Hazard’s transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid is ‘already done’ – reckons former Arsenal striker Paul Mariner.

Hazard is wanted at Real Madrid and an official bid in the summer of around £150m is expected.

The Blues have signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund in a £57.5m deal, which could smooth Hazard’s exit.

And Mariner reckons the deal with Real Madrid has already been signed off.

“It’s a yes,” he said on ESPN.

“I think the deal’s been done a long, long time ago.”

Leandro Paredes agrees terms

Zenit St-Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes has agreed to join Chelsea.

Thats according to La Gazette dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schirra, who claims Paredes has agree a five-year deal worth £77k per week.

Schirra adds that Chelsea are just waiting for Zenit to accept a £27million offer before the deal can be completed.

“Chelsea wants to close Leandro Paredes from Zenit,” Schirra tweeted. “Marina Granovskaia has offered €30 million for him and awaits an answer.

“He wants to leave from Russia: agreement to sign a contract until 2023 (€4.5 million per year).”

The Argentina international sparked speculation he is set to join by sharing a video entitled ‘Welcome to Chelsea’ on Twitter.

Callum Wilson clue

Eddie Howe fuelled speculation that Callum Wilson is about to join Chelsea after he left him out of his squad to face Everton.

Wilson was nursing an injury in the build-up to the clash but was expected to be named on the bench at the very least.

However, on the same day it was revealed that Chelsea are ready to firm up their interest with an offer for the England striker, Wilson was absent entirely when the squads were announced.

Although, Howe insists the timing is coincidental and says he would have missed the clash even without the speculation surrounding his future.

“Callum’s hamstring strain isn’t serious but enough to keep him out of this game,” he said.

Wanted: Nathan Ake

Chelsea are thinking about bringing Nathan Ake back to Stamford Bridge.

That’s according to The Sun, who claim Chelsea want a new central defender to replace captain Gary Cahill.

The Cherries signed Ake for a club record fee of £20million in June 2017, but a £40million buy-back clause was inserted in his contract.

Now, Chelsea are thinking about activating that clause with Ake proving himself at domestic and international level.

£50m Eden Hazard bid

Real Madrid are set to bid £50m each for BOTH Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen to get the ball rolling on their summer spending.

Real Madrid reportedly want both players this summer and will start their moves with a low ball offer, according to the Sun.

It is claimed Madrid expect to see the bids rejected and will then begin negotiations for the players.

Hazard will have just 12 months on his deal in the summer and is likely to leave then unless a new contract is agreed.
